74 year female with a basal cell carcinoma of the left cheek underwent MOHS removal of the tumor by a dermatologist. The photo on the left is after the removal by the dermatologist. The patient traveled to Dr. Bartholomew for the closure the same day. Dr. Bartholomew performed a rhomboid flap, which utilizes a geometric incision to relieve tension on the skin. The photo on the right is 4 weeks post op.
